Our work

Different communities. One shared call to serve.

RECLAIM walks alongside local leaders, families, and churches in Uganda and Kenya. Each expression responds to its own community while sharing one commitment: restore dignity, strengthen families, and build hope through faithful relationship.

Children and Families

Strengthening children by strengthening families.

Walking alongside children with special needs and their families—through gatherings, advocacy, hygiene and wound-care support, education, medical care, and family-led income projects.

Families carry the daily work of care, belonging, and advocacy. Training, encouragement, and shared problem-solving help build up the family around each child, because many lasting solutions begin within a supported and equipped home.

What walking alongside can include
  • Regular family gatherings, training, and peer encouragement
  • Hygiene and wound-care support
  • Education, medical care, advocacy, and community inclusion

Outreach and Community

Faith expressed through presence and practical service.

Supporting local pastors, encouraging the body of Christ, Christian outreach and Jesus Film ministry, clean-water projects, and community needs.

The work is based in Masindi while outreach can extend into other communities across Uganda. Local pastors and leaders shape where relationships are built, what needs are addressed, and how outside support can serve responsibly.

Kitale Kids

Building toward a place where children belong, learn, and grow.

Serving a community of approximately 260 children while developing accessible education, family-style care, skills training, and sustainable food production.

Family strengthening remains central. Whenever safe care within a child's family is possible, the goal is to help that family grow stronger. When it is not, family-style care can preserve the belonging, responsibility, and relationship every child needs.

Accessible education

Learning environments designed so children with different abilities can belong.

Family-style care

Care that protects relationship, identity, responsibility, and belonging.

Skills training

Practical learning that prepares young people for meaningful participation and work.

Sustainable food

Food production that can nourish children, teach skills, and strengthen long-term stability.

Across every community

Families are not at the edge of the work. They are part of the answer.

RECLAIM seeks to build up families through training, encouragement, practical support, and opportunities for greater stability. The goal is not to create dependence, but to help children and families recognize their ability, responsibility, dignity, and God-given worth.

Local leaders and families help identify priorities. Financial gifts strengthen shared programs according to real needs and responsible planning—not through one-to-one child sponsorship.
